First things first hm? My name and age are of no consequence (I prefer to keep those to myself...) but I prefer to go by HYDE. I'm of Japanese descent although it's been known for people to think that I'm of mixed race. I sing. I act. My occupation? I'm the vocalist and lyricist of L'Arc~en~Ciel, and a solo artist. I've acted in the odd movie or two. I smoke. I like Harry Potter.

To put it simply, I've come to start anew. After I divorced my wife and received custody of my three-year-old son, I thought it'd simply be best to get away from Japan, thus it's no stretch to settle down. I wont get into details about my divorce though. It's still rather fresh in my mind and we didn't exactly part on good terms.
